About the Program

Re-entering the workforce can be challenging, especially after life with young children or an extended period away from work.

The Inspiring Women to Work program has been established to give you the skills, confidence and connections to re-establish a career in the modern workforce. By bringing together a mentoring program, accredited training and job search assistance, finding your new career has never been easier or more exciting!

INSPIRE, CONNECT, SUPPORT is the core philosophy of Maroochydore Chamber of Commerce’s Inspiring Women to Work program.

Join us as our mentors lead a series of workshops and one-on-one mentoring sessions designed to inspire and motivate you with practical ways to develop confidence, passion and drive as you examine your career options in preparation for re-entering the workforce.

Each workshop is led by a respected, skilled and passionate businesswoman in our community, many of whom have overcome great personal and professional challenges to get to where they are today. No woman is alone in having to face challenges in their career and our mentors will inspire you with their stories.

You will learn how to succeed in key areas such as business, health and wellbeing, and personal presentation as well as how to operate in our new digital world.

Let us connect you with people in our community who can assist with your next career move. We link you with local influencers, businesses and employment opportunities through a series of business events and activites throughout the project.

We will help identify new job and career opportunities, link you with business groups both in person and online, facilitate networking opportunities and introduce you to key contacts in helping you establish your new career.

Don’t miss this opportunity to expand your networks and meet influencers across the Sunshine Coast.

You are not in this alone. Through our partnerships with organisations such as the Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network, a range of mentoring and support services are provided to help you succeed in finding the career you love.

This includes both formal and informal mentoring, career planning, professional development and advice when you need it.

With individualised support every step of the way, launching your new career will be a rewarding and fulfilling experience in your personal and professional journey.
